Lourdes Academy is pleased to announce the launch of a search for our next President. As a PreK–12 Catholic school rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service, this is an important and exciting moment in the life of our school community.
The President of Lourdes Academy plays a vital role in advancing our Catholic mission, providing visionary leadership, and ensuring the long-term vitality of our school. We are committed to identifying a leader who will honor our traditions, inspire our students and staff, and strengthen our partnership with families, alumni, and the broader community.
To support this effort, Lourdes Academy is working in collaboration with the Diocese of Green Bay, whose guidance and expertise will help ensure a thorough, thoughtful, and mission-centered search process. Together, we are dedicated to finding a candidate who embodies our values and is well prepared to lead Lourdes Academy into the future.

Summary of Responsibilities
Lourdes Academy President is appointed by the Board of Directors and the Board of Trustees to lead Lourdes Academy as a ministry of the Catholic Church. The President position has the overall responsibility for the leadership of Lourdes Academy spiritual and academic mission. The President is the institutional spokesperson representing Lourdes Academy to internal and external community groups.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mission and Catholic Identity
Ensure Catholic culture of inviting young people to deepen their personal relationship with Jesus, welcoming young people into the life of the Church, and assisting young people to see and understand the role of faith in one’s own life and larger society.- Articulate and implement Catholic mission and vision for Lourdes Academy.
- Inspire and create Catholic environments which ignite the passions of faculty, staff, and students, unifying them in meaningful achievement.
- Model and support Roman Catholic Identity and charisms of Catholic Church.
- Monitor the expression of Catholic Identity, including selection of personnel in consultation with principals.
- Act as Lourdes Academy liaison with Diocese of Green Bay.
Academic Excellence
Ensure Lourdes Academy curricular and extracurricular experiences are rigorous, research-based, relevant, inclusive, global, innovative, rooted in Catholic faith and traditions, and in alignment with Board of Trustees, Board of Directors (Corporate Board), Diocese of Green Bay, and Catholic Church.
Governance and Leadership
Ensure key components of effective governance, which provides direction or authority, and leadership, which ensures effective operations.- Administrative Leadership
- Appoint and evaluate school principals.
- Approve all contracts for administrators and teachers and oversee principal evaluation of faculty and staff.
- Develop a team of effective leaders responsible for supporting and implementing Lourdes Academy spiritual and academic vision and mission, marketing, admissions, and advancement.
- Board Leadership
- Assist in governance of Lourdes Academy by collaborating with Lourdes Academy Board of Directors, Board of Trustees, and Board of Trustees Chairperson, and presenting appropriate policy issues, reports, and items for approval to Lourdes Academy Board of Trustees and Board of Directors. Serves on appropriate committees of Lourdes Academy Board of Trustees as an ex-officio voting member.
- Oversee accreditation, endorsement, and review processes of schools.
Operational Vitality
Ensure successful operations in four areas as chief executive officer: finance, facilities, human resources/personnel, and institutional advancement.- Collaborate with Lourdes Academy leaders of Finance, Advancement, Enrollment Management, and Endowment Board and Lourdes Academy community to provide resources for Lourdes Academy.
- Encourage benefactors to support Lourdes Academy , including annual contributions, special projects and capital campaigns, endowed giving, planned giving, and restricted tuition assistance gifts.
- Develop and oversee annual budgets in collaboration with Lourdes Academy Finance Department, Boards, and parishes.
- Ensure school facilities safety and security, promote safety on school campuses, and minimize liability and risk.
- Oversee maintenance of Lourdes Academy buildings and grounds.
- Collaborate and ensure compliance with the Diocese of Green Bay and Catholic Church.
